Abstract
As a natural defense mechanism, coughing and sneezing are normal reflexes to clear mucus or other foreign object from respiratory tract. Various types of respiratory diseases can be transmitted by coughing or sneezing through droplets and airborne routes, including influenza, chickenpox, measles, tuberculosis, SARS, pertussis, Ebola, and the one that has become a pandemic until now is Covid-19 caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. Clinical manifestation includes fever, headache, and pneumonia. One of the appropriate precautions is wearing mask, although it should be combined with keeping the distance and hand hygiene. Aims of this research are to educate the ethics of coughing and sneezing and how to wear and remove mask correctly. And also, to educate common knowledge about Covid-19 to the community in Kelurahan Sumur Batu using online platform such as zoom and YARSI TV. 24 respondent were participated and 82% showed an increase regarding the ethics of coughing and sneezing, how to wear and remove mask correctly and knowledge about Covid-19 in the community around the RPTRA, Kelurahan Sumur Batu, Jakarta Pusat
