Abstract
Parents, especially mothers, play an important role in preventing caries in children. Dental Home is a concept of how to prevent caries in children which includes continuous collaboration between parents and health workers, especially dentists in an effort to take caries prevention measures in children at home. The concept of Dental Home is an effort that is easily made by parents to prevent caries in children but it has not been optimally socialized to the community.
This community service activity aims to provide information and increase the knowledge of parents, especially mothers, about the concept of Dental Home as an easy effort to prevent caries in children. The method used was in the form of counseling followed by a discussion about the concept of Dental Home which was conducted online.
The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge of 69 participants which can be seen from the very significant differences in the pretest and post test scores. Based on these results, it is concluded that this educational activity regarding the concept of Dental Home is very useful and easy to do so that it is necessary to increase similar activities in the community.
