Abstract


Introduction: The current epidemiology of HIV AIDS is shifting from key populations (sex workers, men-sex-men, transgender people, injecting drug users, clients of sex workers and prisoners) to housewives who got infected by their husband. It also can be transmitted to their children. The gathering places for men (husbands) in entertainment and workplaces. It is very difficult to interfere with men in entertainment places because they don't want to be recognized. HIV AIDS prevention programs in the workplace are still few. Due to COVID 19, the HIV AIDS prevention programs are no longer carried out. All focus is on the preventions of this pandemic. Objective: to educate about HIV AIDS prevention, increase male involvement, increase the commitment of company leaders and encourage non-discriminatory policies in companies, discover the creative and innovative idea to implement the program in this pandemic era. Method: Provide online education via Zoom Meeting and Powerpoint slide with pretest and posttest questionnaire instruments. The result of pretest and posttest were evaluated using the Wilcoxon test to measure knowledge and the Mc Nemar test to measure attitudes.

Result: Education provision (webinar) was held on Friday, August 14, 2020 with 2433 participants. The evaluation, which was conducted by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test, showed that the level of knowledge and attitudes of the participants increased significantly with a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05).

Conclusion: Knowledge and attitudes about HIV AIDS increased significantly after the provision of online education.
