Abstract


Waste, which is the residue of processed household needs, is a big problem in any region, including Ciseeng Village. The schedule for collecting garbage by the Sanitation and Gardening Office of Bogor Regency is very limited, almost non-existent, causing the accumulation of garbage in the Ciseeng Village environment. Waste is divided into two, namely organic waste and inorganic waste. The most problematic waste is inorganic waste such as plastic The Yarsi University FEB Community Service Team (PKM) in collaboration with the Ciseeng Village community conducts activities for handling waste, especially plastic waste. Handling of plastic waste is carried out by the Recycle method, namely plastic waste is processed into blocks. Plastic waste is collected by the community, represented by the Ciseeng Youth Organization, used as raw material for making plastic blocks. Karang Taruna was given training in processing and manufacturing plastic smelting tools. The plastic blocks produced will be sold, thereby increasing the income of the community and will also be used for renovating existing roads in the Ciseeng village environment. Karang Taruna in Ciseeng village is able to use plastic waste to be processed into plastic blocks, so that the waste problem in Ciseeng Village is resolved, especially plastic waste. Plastic blocks that are produced per day are 10 square meters requiring 250 kg of plastic waste. So that the plastic block produced is as much as 300 square meters in a month, with plastic waste totaling 7500 kg.
